What we collect
When you order, contact us, or sign up for letters from the maison:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Shipping and billing addresses
- Order history and any pieces saved to wishlist
- Communications with our concierge or atelier
- Anonymised analytics (page views, device type, country) — we do not use third-party trackers and do not share this data
We never collect or store complete payment card numbers. Card payments are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner; we receive only an anonymised tokenised reference for repeat charges (which you can revoke at any time).
What we use it for
- To process orders, deliveries, and returns
- To respond to your enquiries and provide concierge service
- To send Letters from the Maison (only if you explicitly opt in)
- To improve our service in aggregate, anonymised form
- To meet our legal obligations under Indian law
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or session-replay tools on this site.
- We do not share your data with anyone except logistics providers (DHL, Blue Dart) for delivery — and only the minimum address data they need.
Cookies
This site sets one essential cookie to remember your bag and preferences across pages. We do not use marketing or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; the cart will not persist across sessions, but everything else will work as expected.
Your rights
Under Indian law you have the right to:
- Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correct any data we hold about you
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent for newsletters or any marketing communications
- Object to any processing you consider inappropriate
To exercise any of these, write to privacy@voltz.in. We respond within 14 days as a matter of policy, and within 30 days as a matter of law.
Where the data lives
Your data is stored on servers located in India. Some logistics partners (DHL, for international shipments) may process address data on servers outside India under standard contractual clauses.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe we have, please write to privacy@voltz.in and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email to anyone with an active account. The current version is always available at this URL with the date of last revision below.
